This Tuesday - 5 mile Road Run/Walk in aid of Pieta House

The first event of Doon GAA's 125 year celebrations takes place this Tuesday - New Year’s Day. It's a 5 mile Road Run/Walk in aid of Pieta House, Limerick. Registration will be open at the GAA Clubhouse from 12midday on New Year’s Day. Walkers will start at 1pm and runners will start at 2pm

The entry fee is just €10 for runners and €5 if you want to walk the distance. All proceeds will go to Pieta House.The start and finish line will be at the GAA field and we will be taking in the townslands of Clonlusk, Gurtavalla, Kilmoylan and Cooga.  There will be cash prizes for the first few people to reach the finish line in male, female and juvenile categories. A special unveiling of our 125 flag will take place at 12.45 on the same afternoon.
