4 wins out of 4! Our Seniors had an emphatic win over Knockainey in Caherconlish last night, keeping their unbeaten record in this year’s County Championship intact. Star of the first half Darragh O’Donovan recorded a personal tally of 2-5 out of our entire 2-12 scored in that 30 minutes. Half time score Doon 2-12 Knockainey 1-4. Early in the second half Micheal Ryan & George Allis added a goal each, with a point each from Dinny Moloney and Ger McPartland. We were without a score for 12 minutes in the middle of the half and let Knockainey crawl back with a number of accurately pointed frees, and we weren’t on such scoring form as we had been in the earlier part of the game. Final score Doon 4-18 Knockainey 1-12.
