A new hurling sub-committee comprising of 6 people has been formed to oversee the continued development of hurling in our parish to compliment the wonderful facilities we have at present. This committee at present are taking nominations or indeed applications from any interested party in managing or coaching a team for the coming year. We would envisage applications will be closed within 2 weeks so a selection process can begin. Any information or applications can be made through the secretary Bernard Crowe.

As everyone is aware our new hurling wall is near completion and is a credit to everyone that has made this project such a success it has been. In addition to the hurling wall handball can also be played in this facility. Roger Maher has been appointed handball co-ordinator for the club and anyone that wishes to either coach or play handball can contact him on 0851396896.

A new text & email alert service will come into operation this year making people aware of fixtures, times and venues. If you want to subscribe to this service please email your name, email, and mobile to or text your details to 0867702042. This will be a valuable service to match goers as it will also alert people to late cancellations, venue or time changes.
