·         Doon Gaa has been very lucky to have been selected to participate in the "Ag Eisteacht" programme which is an initiative of current Gaa President Christy Cooney. The purpose of this programme is to give club members access to senior officers of the Association so they can voice their opinions on any area of the Gaa's activities.

On the 25-1-2011 @ 7.30pm the Gaa Director General Pairic Duffy will attend the club house to listen to the views and opinions that our club members hold. This is a very worthwhile event and it will give you the chance to have your say. To make sure that this evening is a resounding success a cross section of all members if possible should attend.

This is an open evening and all are invited.

·         The Born Na nOg AGM was held on Tues evening 18th Jan in front of a very large attendance. The following officers were elected: Chairperson: Declan Ryan; Vice Chairperson: Mark Doyle; Secretary: Robert O Connell; Ass Secretary: Ann McPartland; PRO: Francis Cummins; Child Protection Officer: Ger McNamara; County Board Delegate: Denis Kennedy

It is important that as many people as possible help out at underage level for the coming year. Selectors, coaches or indeed any help would be greatly appreciated across all age groups. If you wish to be involved please contact Robert on 086 6664252 or email
